How do we book with you?
Booking a session/wedding with me is simple - find the "contact" page at the top, and fill out the form. In summary, to secure a wedding date, a $500 non-refundable deposit must be received along with a signed photography agreement. For a regular shoot a $100 non-refundable deposit is required.
How long does it take to receive our photos and how will those be delivered?
I love photography so much that I start editing your photos the moment I get home! I take pride in being efficient so my turn around time for a full wedding album is 2 weeks. Sneak peeks are also posted within 72 hours on my Facebook/Instagram page. For any other shoots, turn around time is only just a few days! Photos will be delivered via an online gallery!
What is your availability for 2026 and are you taking bookings for 2027?
I have limited availability for 2026 and I am officially taking bookings for 2027 woohoo!
What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?
For mini shoots, there is always a rain date associated with each booking. For regular shoots, we will simply reschedul and for weddings, we will work around the rain or find an indoor location!
Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?
I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I shoot mostly local weddings within the province but I am also open to travel. Travel related fees are included in all wedding packages!
Do you work with a second photographer?
I do not. Most of my work is a one-woman team! I take pride in affordable photography that is feasible to all. Two photographers are typically more costly, however, if this is essential to you it is an additional $500 for the day.
How long have you been in the business/how many weddings have you photographed?
I've been in business since 2015 and have photographed 90+ weddings and video-graphed six!
Do you do destination weddings?
I sure do! Have I mentioned that I love to travel? The only thing required for this type of booking is travel fare, accommodation and food and I will be there in a heart beat! Yes, that's right- you don't have to pay anything else!
Are engagement sessions included in your wedding packages?
I highly recommend booking an engagement session as it allows us to meet and work together prior to your wedding day! Unfortunately, they are not included in my packages, but can be purchased for an additional $350. I am aware that some photographers include "complimentary" engagement sessions, however, their package costs are typically much higher than mine.
If I need to cancel my wedding, is the retainer/deposit refundable?
The retainer/deposit is non-refundable. The deposit guarantees that I'll hold the date exclusively for you and once you've signed the contract, I do turn down all other commissions for that date. I will, however, transfer the deposit to another date if I am still available for the new date.
What type of equipment do you use?
I use top-of-the-line professional canon equipment and extensive backups.
What type of sessions do you offer?
There is not a single thing that I don't photograph. In addition to weddings, I do families, events, company headshots, newborns, engagements, portrait sessions, and lifestyle work. If you can think of it, I most likely take photos of it. I love growing with my clients and becoming their forever photographer. These sessions are $350 and include 50+ edited and high resolution images.

Why should I be your wedding photographer? Because I will take care of you as if you were my family. I will help you craft a timeline that allows your day to be your day, just how you want it. Because weddings can be stressful and overwhelming, I will be right with you the entire time - I promise. I'll be your problem solver. If it rains, if it snows, if it gets dark early, if your venue is unexpectedly covered in scaffolding, if hair and makeup run late, if we get stuck in traffic - I've got you, and your photos will still be amazing. My job is to take great pictures for you, yes, but also to help remove all of the stress from your wedding day so you can relax and truly enjoy one of the best days of your life!
How would you describe your photography style?
I am big into candid photography, and capturing real natural emotions. That said, sometimes a little direction can be really helpful in putting you at ease! The thing about photography on the day is that as a bride you obviously want gorgeous photos to remember the day, but the reason for the day ISN’T the photos! Its about starting a brand new adventure with your best friend in the world for life, and celebrating that with your friends and family. So with photography, my goal is to try and find a blend of taking enough time for your photoshoot to ensure you walk away with stunning photos of the day, but also staying back during the rest of the day and capturing moments as they unfold – so that you can stay in the moment.
What else do you offer?
As of recently, I offer drone photography and videography! If you're looking for a drone shot of your family home, it is $300 and 10+ images are included. If outside the HRM, travel costs are required. A video of your wedding day is also only $500!

Your smallest wedding package is six hours, can I book you for less?
You sure can! I have an hourly rate of $400/hr for weddings so you can book me for as little or as many hours as you'd like!
Do you offer mini sessions?
Yes! I announce these on my instagram page and offer 1-2 per season. They are $175 hst included, are 20mins in duration and include 25 images. Set dates and locations!
How much is a regular photoshoot and what does it include?
A regular shoot (family photos, graduations, events, couples photos, etc) are one hour in duration and costs $350. It includes a location of choice and 50+ photos delivered to you in high resolution and edited format! Typically back to you within one week!
Do you offer headshots or do company work parties?
